Inquiry (采购产品): thermoforming I am searching for information regarding the thermoforming of a polyethylene two sided case, utilizing the same part for each half, two parts hinged together create the whole part. An aluminum valance will be used to mate the parts. Size is to be 41"x18"x6". wall thickness of .125". I need a ball park figure for the tooling and the price for one part (one half). Quantity would be 5000 parts per year. I am very familiar with injection molding, but know very little about thermoforming. A ballpark figure would be useful to determine if this would be a preferred production method for this part, as opposed to injection molding.
