Inquiry (采购产品): Alum tread plate I am looking for some .10" (or close) aluminum tread plate. My cut size would be 24" x 52.5". I do not need the polished finish, just the lowest/best price. I need this for an attic access ladder to use as the fire barrier. These ladders come with a thin layer of plywood veneer which has a burn through of minutes, therefore violating fire code. The reason I am asking for the .10" thick is I found it weighs 1.1405 #/sf. Heavier steel diamond plate (14ga) is too heavy for the retraction cylinders at 3.75 #/sf. I can will-call for pick up.
