PZT Transducers Inquiry (采购产品): PZT Transducers I'm enquiring about transducers. Please see message.... AMS TUBULAR TRANSDUCER REQUIREMENTS: SMALL DIAMETER Our needs are for 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and 1.7 mm OD tubular (cylindrical) transducers that operate at frequencies between 5.5MHz and 8MHz with a wall thickness ~ 0.20mm (0.008”) to 0.30mm (0.012”). The material can be PZT-4 or PZT-8, highest grade only. We need to be able to have tubes made from the smallest of 1.0mm (0.039”) OD to a maximum diameter of 1.7mm (0.067”) OD. Concentricity needs to be within 0.008mm (0.0003”). Also, AMS really wants a transducer tubular diameter that will fit within a 14ga catheter, which will likely be a 1.2 mm (0.047”) OD tube. For small diameter tubes, 1.0mm (0.039”) to 1.7mm (0.067”) OD, the shortest tube length needed will be 6mm (0.24”) and the longest length tubes needed will be 20mm (0.787”). The standard length will be 11mm (0.43”). AMS is also interested if plating can be done, but have longitudinal “stripes” the length of the tube, that are “masked” so those “stripes” do not plate. An alternate would be laser removal of plating in stripes to form sectors. AMS is also interested if the supplier can cut grooves into the tubes longitudinally. Cut grooves depth would be ~1/4 to 1/3 thickness of tube material. LARGER DIAMETER Also, we will want tubes of ~20mm (0.787”) & 30mm (1.181”) OD tubular (cylindrical) transducers can be made from PZT-4 or PZT-8, highest grade only. The 20mm tubes at a frequency of ~10 MHz with a wall thickness~0.23mm (0.009”), and 30mm tubes at a frequency of ~3.3Mhz with a wall thickness ~ 0.66mm (0.026”). For the large diameter (20mm - 30mm) tubes, the longitudinal lengths will range from 15mm (0.59”) to 35mm (1.378”). Electrode plating is needed, if the supplier can do that. Nickel plating is our standard. AMS is also interested in Silver plating and Gold plating. All plating needs to be uniform and not too thick. Thickness must be uniform. AMS is also interested if the supplier can cut the tubes longitudinally. Cuts may also be completely through tubes along longitudinal length, resulting in an “arc” the length of the tube. These segments would be in the range of 50 to 70 Degrees of arc. For all tubes, regardless of length or diameter, they all must be “triple cleaned”, any contamination with ferrous/iron and other materials must be avoided, and all tubes must be of High-Q on Network Analyzer. **** Hidden Message ***** Chad Gossett 61820 Company: AMS E-mail: chadg@acousticmed.com **** Hidden Message ***** chadg@acousticmed.com |
