Inquiry (采购产品): optical encoder _ Dear Sir, In order to control Electro Optical Gimbals to the required high angular accuracy I consider using Optical Encoder. Since the installation space limited and a through hole at the middle of the axis is required, it seems that using a modular kit (read head and hollow indexing disk) is the best choice for this application. Enclosed please find preliminary requirements for the encoder: 1. Encoder type: incremental 2. Disk outer diameter: 125 mm 3. Disk inner diameter: 97.5 mm 4. Maximum height: 12 mm 5. Supply voltage: 5 V 6. Output signals: RS422 differential (preferable), or TTL 7. Counts per revolution: 10,000 minimum 8. Resolution: 40,000 minimum 9. Operating temperature: -40 oC to +55 oC 10. Storage temperature: -50 oC to +70 oC 11. Mechanical shock: 20 g 15 ms 12. Vibration: (10-2000Hz)/10g 13. Angular velocity: 150 RPM This is only a preliminary specification and I will appreciate it very much if you will refer to it technically (if you have a similar existing product which is not exactly as specified above please advise). If it is possible, please quote (ROM price) for development (NRE) , unit price in a quantities of 5, 10 and 50 and delivery time.
