Inquiry (采购产品): RoHS Compliant To: East Branch Engr. & Mfg December 10, 2008 Pitney Bowes has standards that outline and specify requirements our suppliers must adhere to do business with Pitney Bowes. In turn these policies allow Pitney Bowes to be in compliance with existing regulations both domestically and internationally. In order to be in compliance, our suppliers must provide parts in line with Pitney Bowes policy. This letter is intended to inform our supplier base regarding RoHS requirements. The following standards apply to the RoHS directive and supplier requirements. Pitney Bowes DMT must ensure our products comply with RoHS directives in effect in various countries around the world. G3810 – Guideline on Environmental Labeling requirements – describes labeling requirements for parts and packaging. In G3810, our suppliers need to pay attention to Section V on pages 23-27. B1850 – Workmanship standards (specifically clause 7.0) – clause 7.0 refers to PB standard STD2006. B1850 should be on all PB drawings. STD2006 – Document Messaging Technologies Compliance Specification – describes RoHS materials, plating, etc. Pay specific attention to clause 6.0. In order to continue to do business with Pitney Bowes you must understand and adhere to these requirements. Effective immediately Pitney Bowes DMT requires RoHS products. Reference the attached standards to be sure you comply with Pitney Bowes requirements. You must contact your Pitney Bowes Commodity Manager in the event of any discrepancy you identify BEFORE you begin a production run.
