Engineered/Distributor Foam Dept. Manager, Plymouth, Indiana (2002 - 2008) Responsible for P&L and 83 employees. Managed all day to day operations for extrusion and converting facility. Department revenue $3M per month. Accomplishments included: Plant Lean Manufacturing Champion Initiated and implemented Kaizen team cost saving projects and led 5-S programs throughout the Plymouth facility. Reduced operating costs by $1.4M annually. Leveraged this success for the organization by providing expertise to eight additional plant locations. Engineered Products Center of Excellence Team Leader Led company-wide team of experts from each facility responsible for improving quality.
