Inquiry (采购产品): Question Can it be possible to manufacture an electronic device about 4" square that would, at the press of a button, voice off an inputted text document over a miniature speaker utilizing text to speech software, (TTS), all powered by a 9-volt battery for around $20 bucks? Further description; I want to use this software on my lap top, build the document, upload it to the device by USB connection, then push the button on the device and here what I uploaded. I'm trying to collect marketing information over the web targeting a specific Industry by presenting my idea that involves the device I described to you. I'm going to cast a web site to see what these people would pay for a device of this type which I feel will fit right into their line of work. As far as I know, there is not a device out on the market designed for this application. The voice does not have to be great. If there was some easy switch to change to Spanish, that would be great, but for the most part, I feel that there will only be professionals using it and English would be the preferred language. These people will make every effort to maximize benefits no matter how toys-are-us it sounds. First I need to know what it will cost me to produce. I placed myself into the shoes of these people and thought about the benefits of this device and asked myself, "how much money would I pay for this device?" and I decided that $200 bucks would be well worth it. That's where I came up with the $20 dollar cost. I want to make a nice 8 to 10 time profit. I also know there are other costs which I'm prepared to absorb with a mark-up like that. I really believe if it will come across to this particular market as a real handy thing that will make thier job easier. I'm keeping every research document on this project and if my hunch is correct, I'll be looking to your company for a quote/contract to produce them. **** Hidden Message ***** Randy Skellington - Company: - E-mail: rlskell@aol.com **** Hidden Message ***** rlskell@aol.com
