Inquiry (采购产品): Monarch Turret Lathe To Whom It May Concern; My name is Robert Wold and I work for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems in St. Louis. Part of what we do in my group is assist the military, in this case the U S Navy, with the design of their maintenance and training facilities. At NAS Oceana, we found a lathe manufactured by Monarch Lathes that was built in 1954. Obviously, this piece of equipment is no longer supported by the manufacturer, so the Navy intends to replace it with a newer, more automated piece of equipment. I do not have a part number, but I do have a manufacturer's serial number, which is 38563. Not much to go on, but it's all I have available. My question is this: the techs refer to this piece of equipment as a turret lathe. Is that the same as a turret mill? Any information you can provide me is most appreciated. Thank You. Dr. Robert D.
