Tetrabromobisphenol A bis(2,3-disbromopropyl ether) BDDP It’s CAS NO. 21850-44-2. Use: Mainly used for plastic as flame-retardant, widely for PP, PE, PS, ABS resin rubberfibre etc. high molecular material and electronic industry. Especially for PP Plastics. It is the most excellent flame-retardant for PP plastics by now. 2. Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBA). It’s CAS NO. 79-94-7 Use: Mainly been used for epoxy resin, polycarbonate polyester, phenol resin, polyurethane etc. also used for polystyrene , ABS, AS, unsaturated polyester as flame-retardant additive. But now we have developed a new production(XZ-8000) to replace TBBA used in ABS. It’s melting point is lower and bromine content is higher compared to TBBA. 3. Brominated Polystyrene(BPS). It’s CAS NO. 88497-56-7 Use: Mainly been used for PBT, PET and PA as flame retardant. And below are agent productions: 1. Decabromodiphenyl Oxide(DBDPO). It's CAS NO.1163-19-5 Use: Mainly used in rubber, textile, electronic, plastic industry etc. 2. Decabromodiphenyl Ethane(DBDPE). It’s CAS NO.84852-53-9 Use: Mainly used in high-impact polystyrene, engineering plastics, wires and cables, insulator, elastomer and thermoset plastics etc. 3. HEXABROMOCYCLODODECANE（HBCD）.It’s CAS No. 3194-55-6 Use: HBCD are particularly suited for providing flame retardancy to expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam and textile back coatings that are used extensively in the building and construction industry. HBCD additives exhibit high efficiency at low use levels while making building insulation and textiles flame resistant.
