Inquiry (采购产品): ultrafiltration high density cell fermentation I am working for a client interested in using ultrafiltration to operate a high-density culture fermentation process. They currently use their temperature controlled process to grow aerobes in 250-gal, 500-gal, and 750-gal fermenters. Their new interests include: 1. using ultrafiltration to successfully cultivating a high-cell density of relatively slow growing organisms (doubling time of 10 to 20 days) within their existing fermenter, and 2. investigating the potential of incorporating ultrafiltration into the growth medium inlet stream (for sterilization) to the existing fermenters, Ideally, my client would like to filter growth media on its way into the reactor and organisms on the way out. I am investigating potential processes to accomplish these goals. My interests include not only discerning appropriate technology, but also identifying manufacturers (designers) as well as distributors of membrane technology and then inventorying the following types of information: (i) Applications (some are better for oily waste separation rather than biological) (ii) Charge on membrane (iii) Standard lengths and widths of tubes (my client would prefer 9' lengths) (iv) Recommended pressure ranges for optimal elutriation (v) Recommended flow rates for optimal elutriation (vi) Typical elutriation rates (they should be able to give us elutriation versus pressure for a standard length) (vii) Pore size range, and pore size versus time on an application (vii) Cleaning specifications: chemical, frequency, pressure etc (what are design criteria) Any help you can provide would be most appreciated. **** Hidden Message ***** Laura Lackey 1400 Coleman Ave Macon, GA 31207 USA Company: Mercer University Phone: 478-301-4106 E-mail: lackey_l@mercer.edu **** Hidden Message ***** lackey_l@mercer.edu
