Inquiry (采购产品): parts to be cleaned Mike: I included instructions with the parts I sent to you, but Maggie said that you may need more information. The parts are to be cleaned with three stages of the acid- cleaner (about 10% solution for 1-2 minutes each); and please use ultrasonics in stage two. (The first stage is more for oil removal). The same product is used in each stage, which is the MMC 350. I then need a rinse and followed my Metal Rinse for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The Metal Rinse is used to neutralize the acid. I would start at 160 F. I included a sheet with these instructions as well as a report showing you what they do now. I also included a "perfect" part for you to see what they are looking for as a target to hit. Please return the parts when you finish processing them. Call me if you have any problems getting the results. I am also sending you a second customer's parts to be processed as you did the ones above. There is one small twist. The customer's parts were cut with an oil containing chlorinated parafin. Although there are in the process of eliminating the chlorinated parafin, they want to know if they can achieve good results with Ultrasonics. You may need to preclean these parts with mineral spirits or some other hydrocarbon prior to processing. I will leave this up to you. Ince the parafinated chlorine is out of their system, I am expecting better results. These parts are for Marshall Brass, a company for whom you already sent a quote. They are vey interested in ultrasonics and I think we will see an order from them soon. They were about to buy the ultrasonic packs for their supplier to use, but ultimately they will take this job in house. Again, call if you need any more information.
