Work involved repairing of the different parts of machines used in steel plant especially dealt with gear hobbing and honing. Organization : Bhushan Power And Steel Limited, Chandigarh, India(7/07-12/07(6 months) Position : Trainee engineer. Worked on two projects. Breakdown Analysis of Cold Rolling Mill. Team of 5 people divided project .Everyone worked on different domains of the project and found the reasons for breakdown of mill. Finally we compiled our data and suggested the reasons and remedies of breakdown of the cold rolling mill. Scrap Reduction In Steel Plant. Team of 5 people studied all the processes in the plant and found some places where the reduction in the scrap was possible and suggested some ways to reduce the scrap. Some suggestions were successfully implemented in the steel plant.
