Southern, Nevada I was hired to move to the Las Vegas area mainly to call on the local Utility company, and Industrial accounts. My account list includes Co-op Utility accounts, along with nine Hospitals, The City of Las Vegas, and Clark County Departments, as well as Heavy Industrial’s, such as Rock Quarries, Timet the worlds largest producer of titanium and a couple Of very largest OEM’s that produce gaming machines. 2002 – 2003 Lighting design and build/project sales, Sierra West Lighting Sales. Northern, California. My duties were to call on Lighting Specifier’s, Engineer’s, Electrical Distributor’s, Electrical Contractor’s, and End Users. A large part of my territory hadn’t been covered by The company, which helped show growth in both existing and new customers 1993 – 2002 Sales Manager, Central Wholesale Electrical Distributors. Northern, California Increase sales in the Residential market; which we ended up being the largest Residential Supplier on the West Coat. We then began focusing on the Commercial Construction Market, Very good growth in the Industrial arena, along with process Industrial’s. We ended up with having to increase up to 53 employees, 9 delivery trucks and 42, 000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. 1990 – 1993 Lighting design and build/project sales, Light Systems Company. Northern, California. Working for an agency selling more than 40 different manufactures lighting Lines. Taught layout and drawings for lighting soft-wire systems to Distributors, and Contractors that I called upon. Negotiating and doing product presentations for end-users. Some of the Bay Areas largest Commercial Contractors, and have also done presentations at companies such as H.P. Headquarters, Borland Corp., and some of the largest Electrical Engineers. My responsibilities where to call on Electrical Distributors, Electrical Contactors, Commercial End-users, M.R.O.’s, Architects, and some of the Bay Areas largest Electrical Contractors. I was promoted to Manager of Insides Sales, to help with the reorganization plan for the Agency. I would develop and expand the marketing program and establish a stronger Project Dept. I would accumulate all pricing from all of the Outside Sales People, and Quotation Dept. along with other feedback for larger projects that would bid daily. Any extra time that we had, we would spend, was well spent and by doing so, we were awarded with projects that had much higher gross profit. 1989 – 1990 Outside Sales, Independent Electrical Supply. These Accounts ended up being the companies larges accounts, gross sales and GMR, of all of their Branches. 1982 – 1984 Regional Manager, Thomas Lighting Ind. West Palm Beach, Florida. I called on some of the largest builders, Architects, developers, Electrical Contractors, Electrical Engineers, Lighting Showrooms in Florida, along with lighting specifications group in the Country. 1971 – 1982 Seminole Electric Supply, Co., Tampa, Florida. 1971-1973-St. Petersburg branch, I was hired into the electrical business at entry level. 1973-1975-Crystal River branch, which was first branch as manager. I helped build this new branch from day one, which ended up as number 3 branch. 1975-1977 New Port Richey branch, My next and larger branch, I also helped this branch grow from number 4, to number 2 for the company. 1977-1982-Tampa branch, I transferred to the main branch as Branch Manager. I also took the job as Purchasing Director for all 8 branches and handled all major buys and programs. 1980-1982 along with still handling my duties of managing Tampa, I was appointed as General Manager for the company, 1966 – 1970 U.S. Navy Aviation Administration Tech-Radar-Electronics Flight Deck/Flight Crew Aircraft and flight deck fire and rescue Education 1962 – 1966 Diploma, Northeast High School, St, Petersburg, Florida. 1966 – 1970 Trade Schools, USN, Quality Controls, Man Hour Accounting, Data Analysis, Flight Logs and Aircraft Reports/Weight and Measures, Leadership, Aircraft Op’s, and S.P. classes. 1970 – 1972 Jr. College, Gen. Business Administration. Didn’t complete. Other Education Courses: As an employee in the electrical business I have attended many product-training courses, Also as a Direct Manufacture Sales Person and while working for a very large Lighting Agency Attending those manufacture’s schools.
