I also have sent letters to AnalogDevice, Measurement Specialitie, Endevco, Kulite. 1.I have worked out a triaxial (ternary) piezoresistive microelectronic accelerometer based on one sensitive element. This accelerometer uses the only inertial force and includes the one resilient member, consisting of three tensor schemata which measures one of three components of acceleration each. A technical decision is patented in Russia; a date of priority is 01.12.2008. The holder of the patent is my employing enterprise. The holder of patent refused an international patent application, expiration date of which is 01.12.2009. Please, look the attachment for reading fill-in about rated characteristic, specifications, probable manufacturing techniques and experimental results. If you are interested in collaboration, I may suggest two variants of co-operation. The first way is based on first technical decision. Your agents would contact with the company management as soon as possible and discuss purchasing of patent rights. Then your company becomes the patent holder and files international patent application (date of priority is 01.12.2009). Your agents will contact with the company management (the right holder) by fax if you are interested in purchasing the patent mutually advantageous relations. You should notify registration number, the denomination and originator’s name (mine) and also the price you are expecting to pay for right to the patent. It is strongly recommended to do before 18.11.2009 for the right holder (my enterprise) would be able to file an international patent application till 01.12.2009. Negotiations for the sale the patent will take place later on filing the application. I would prefer to take part in discussion. The second way based on first technical decision. You should not establish contact with a right holder (the enterprise) and the right holder will not file international patent application. After 01.12.2009 the technical decision becomes non statutory in all states except Russia. According this, every company (including yours) will be entitled to develop and manufacture sensors based on this technical decision. If you will be interested in this variant, I will inform you with all data: results of the calculation, optimum alternative for embodiment, variants of optimization of industrial technology. I am ready to notify you mutually beneficial and I would be interested in further development. 2.At present I file international patent application for new type of microelectronic sensors of mechanical quantities (method of measurement and technical data for acceleration sensors and pressure sensors; sensors for other mechanical quantities are realizable but not considered in the application). According this application I will be either the originator or right holder. Sensors of new type have some fundamental advantages over existing capacitive sensors and piezoresistive microelectronic sensors. Realization of new sensors let simplify manufacturing technique of MEMS and production of signal processing circuit. It will build up velocity, accuracy of analysis and other parameters of sensors; it also will cut production costs and ensure transferring to nanotechnology. Considering aforesaid, it is supposed that MEMS of new type worked out by me will oust existing sensors from. If you are interested in this information, I would be also interested in co-operation because international patent security of my worked out technical decision is labor-intensive, costly and long process. Unfortunately I am limited in time and money. I can offer two methods of co-operation. The first way is based on second technical decision. The attachment to item 1. 1. Test of nonintegrated accelerometers. I have worked out, manufactured and tested nonintegrated accelerometers based on this technical decision. These are main results of test important for integrated form of accelerometer: 1.1 The natural frequency of axes X and Y is approximately half as less again the natural frequency of axis Z (X and Y are situated in planar surface of sensitive element; Z is perpendicular to this surface). This is fitted the designing; 1.2 The damping coefficient for X-direction and Y-direction is 5-8 times worse than the damping coefficient for Z (if quality factor for Z is 0.7, goodness of X and Y components is 3…5). This is fitted the designing; 1.3 Sensitivity (for manufactured specimen) for Z-direction is half as greater again as sensitivity of X and Y. This is fitted the designing; 1.4 The transverse sensitivity for all three ditections belongs the interval 1…4%. An assembly operation of accelerometer was sufficiently coarse (assembly and test were made 17 years ago). Relatively great rates of transverse sensitivity are caused of inaccurate orientation of sensor axes relative to the axes of accelerometer on assembly. Analysis proves results (items 1.1 and 1.2) for integral accelerometers. 2. Structural design and imaginary capability integral accelerometer based on the warrant: 2.1 Industrial design of integrated accelerometers based on this technical decision is seemingly similar (almost identical) to industrial decision of piezoresistive accelerometers delivered by Measurement Specialties, Inc.; 2.2 Capability for Z-direction based on this technical decision (sensitivity, natural frequency, damping coefficient, vibration survival) is also seemingly close to capability of accelerometers delivered by measurement Specialties, Inc; 2.3 The natural frequency of accelerometers based on this technical decision for X and Y directions is approximately half as less again as Z component; 2.4 The damping coefficient for X and Y directions is 5-8 times worse than the damping coefficient for Z component; 2.5 Sensitivity for Z-direction is expected to be higher, equal or less than sensitivity for X and Y-direction, depending on selected parameters of configuration of sensing element (basic MEMS-structure). 2.6 The assumed proper transverse sensitivity of sensing element all three coordinate directions is less than 1%.
