Inquiry (采购产品): quote Hi , my name is Leopoldo Hidalgo , Im in charge of a Corrosion and Chemical Lab in TenarisTamsa , Veracruz , Mexico We made corrosion tests according to NACE Standards (TM0177) Method A and we use tha standard sample showed in annex pdf and picture.This sample is mechanically obtained from a pipe , and automatically polished using a series of grinder paper (from to 2000 grade). Sometimes after this last step of work , marks of tool remain in the surface and only can be see after the corrosion test. We want to test some samples to be electropolished , in order to have better results in the test (in some samples we have failure because in this test sample is placed in a capsule with H2S and stressed for 760 hours, and some cases the sample do not meet the time required). We must to assure the surface quality do not produce the failure , the failure only must be caused by internal quality of steel. Im sendig a picture of sample and the form we can to send to your company (vacuum packed to avoid oxidation) ) If you can to make our test , we can to send 10 samples in 2 or 3 different polish procedures (without paper from the mechine , intermediate paper grade and 2000 grade).
