Inquiry (采购产品): Special bungee cord My name is John Penn and I am the owner of Postal Things Incorporated. We will be introducing a new product and we are in need of a special bungee cord for tying a horse to our new Hitch-N-Rail. Below are some specifications that we have and hope you can work with. Design: We need a bungee with an outer sleeve or sheath that limits the length that the bungee can be stretched. The inside core can be solid or stranded rubber, this is to be covered in a sheath or sleeve of some type of UV resistant material. 1. Starting length to be 24 inches. Maximum extended length limited by outer sleeve is 36". Must withstand approximately 400lbs of pull force. 2. One end will need to be doubled back and clamped to attach a special > brass snap that will be furnished to you by us. (Image attached to this > email) > Will need to be secured with method to be determined at your discretion. > 3. Other end will need to be completed at our facility. We will need assistance in finding a proper stop after the bungee is inserted through a hole in our part. This will keep the bungee rope from pulling back through our part, or the "anchor hole". This needs to be something that we can do at our facility or in the field without specialized tools. It could be as simple as tying a knot, or some sort of clamp, but needs to withstand the 400lb pull force. 4. We also want to try to limit the "snap-back" effect that will occur when/if the rope is broken. Do you have a solution or suggestion for this? So to summarize, we would like to purchase the rope as specified above, with the snap attached to one end, and also the component(s) necessary to "anchor" the rope to our product. Our market research indicates 1000 required first year and 2500 or more in the following years. Is this something you can do? What would the cost be?
