All Girl Scout Robotics Inquiry (采购产品): All Girl Scout Robotics Hello! I am a senior high school student in southern California representing my high school, all girl robotics team, the Rock N' Roll Robots. We compete with the organization FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) in the middle level, FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge). This is our third year of competition and we are continuing to have a great time competing and learning about science and technology. We have touched hundreds of lives over our past three years of existence. We always try and serve the community in whatever way we can, through robot demos, workshops, presentations, and information. Our goal as a team is to improve the idea of science and technology among females and get them interested in a young age. We've been in many newspaper articles, website blogs, and even KTLA! I think that we are a good example of what girls can achieve with science and technology when given the right start. On December 12, 2009, our team qualified for the World Championships in Atlanta, GA in April 2010. Although we now have a plethora of new expenses to cover, we are as excited as ever to compete with the best teams from all over the world! That is why we are requesting financial help at this time from you. We have an entire sponsorship packet complete with tax exemption papers, testimonials from team mates and mentors, statistics on women in engineering, information about our upcoming summer camp, a promotional DVD, and much more that I would be happy to send to you.
