I am offering my services to you in lieu of paying an agency or an outside accounting firm. I will work for you on a direct basis, according to your needs and schedules. You will find my rates considerably less than a temporary agency or an accounting firm. Some of my recent assignments include: Organizing and coordinating a physical inventory, establishing procedures and training for the manufacturing process, preparing work papers for the annual audit, creating monthly spreadsheets for in-house accountants to easily track variances, cash flows, and financial ratios, training of accounting personnel, establishing criteria and obtaining quotes for business and health insurance renewals, computer audit of equipment, software and licenses to determine areas where upgrades are needed, overhead analysis and work center burden rates, creating an employee handbook, applying for manufacturer’s Sales and Use Tax refund, and creating a five year debt schedule. I also prepare interim financial statements on a monthly basis. I have experience with a variety of accounting and manufacturing systems and have implemented manufacturing and accounting systems and computer conversions and upgrades. My customers include small companies that do not require or cannot afford a full time controller and capital companies with ownership of many smaller companies. Many of my duties are projects that management just cannot find the time to complete on a timely basis. In most cases I report directly to the president or upper management of the company. My reports are usually provided to financial institutions and the board of directors. My rates will vary depending on the assignment, location, and length of contract. I am willing to work on a 1099 or W2 basis. Offers of full time, regular employment will also be considered. Resume and references are available upon request.
