Quote Request Inquiry (采购产品): Quote Request Hello, I am looking for a quote on Zn-Ni (ASTM B841) plated fasteners, which is recommended to be a replacement of cadmium plating on fasteners. We use over 80 types of fasteners (bolt, nut, cap screws...), with dia ranging 0.25"-3" and length range 1"-12". The qty of each varies depending on the pumps we make. If we switch to this plating, the annual purchase qty would be over 50k pcs. The one I am looking at preliminary is a cup point set screw. 3/4"-10 thread. Threaded length-3". (drawing attached). (For this one, we are buying a Alloy steel fastener Cd plated to QQ-P-416E Class 3 & type 2 (Chromate treated). As you may know, Cd is a hazardous element and to be banned and we would like to switch to an alternative environmentally accepted plating/coating for our application.) Alloy steel (4140) Used to bolt pump case covers. Pump is used in Gas & Oil and Hydro Carbon process industry.
