Best regards, Philip Sorensen == Seeking Co-Packers with Liquid Fill Capabilities Our Client is seeking companies that have the capability to provide small metered dose quantities of extract and other food liquids as part of a new product under development. The candidate co-packer should be able to accurately fill and seal a small amount of liquid into a PET blister pack. The liquid-filled blister pack would then be shipped in bulk to the Client for further assembly. Regarding type of packaging (e.g., blister pack vs. other container / material), our client wrote: "We would like the liquid to be filled into the PET blister pack as the primary option. This is a key criterion. If absolutely necessary, the back-up option is to have the liquid filled in a separate package and then be placed in the blister pack." Criteria: Amount of liquid to be filled: 2.5 - 15 ml. Range of liquids: extracts (may contain 35% - 80% alcohol), food color, sauces (eg. sesame oil, fish sauce, curry paste) Volume: 6-8 million units/year Blister material: PET Shelf-life: 15-18 months Blister dimensions (approximate range): Depth: 0.4 - 0.6 inches Length: 1.1 in. - 2.2 in.
