Wear resistant surface treatment for cryogenic application
Inquiry (采购产品): Wear resistant surface treatment for cryogenic application We need to identify a wear resistant, hard surface treatment for a cryogenic application (as low as -280F). The part is currently made of 17-4PH stainless steel in H900 temper, with a heat treated electroless nickel coating. We would like to eliminate the nickel coating and possibly even replace the 17-4PH with a 304 or 316 stainless steel for this part. Please let me know if you can suggest a surface hardening treatment for stainless steels that would meet these requirements.
