Business Development Opportunity Inquiry (采购产品): Business Development Opportunity To Whom It May Concern: My name is Meaghan Bieler and I’m a Database Specialist at Bio-Rad Laboratories’ Informatics Division in Philadelphia. Usually people who are familiar with Bio-Rad know us for our work in the life science sector. Here, in the Informatics Division, we march to the beat of a very different drum. The Informatics Division is responsible for the KnowItAll ? spectral informatics computer program which is a fully integrated system capable of data management, processing, analysis, structure drawing, and reporting. Supporting this software is an extensive collection of databases containing over 1.3 billion spectra. Here in Philly, we’re currently working on expanding this collection by creating a Polymer Industry IR Database and we believe that our customers would find the resins and other polymer products being manufactured by United Resin Corporation to be valuable additions to our data collections, especially since many of our software users are also your customers. We’re looking for 1-2 gram samples of your commercial products upon which we will run infrared spectra. We will not be conducting any kind of analysis on the samples provided, only generating the IR spectra. Our results, along with any additional information that you provide about your products, will be used to create a United Resin Corporation database which you will be given company-wide access to through our web client, KnowItAll? AnyWare. Here you will be able to search through the data, as well as generate reports for customers or internal use. In addition, we will add the United Resin Corporation database to our IR database subscriptions. This is an opportunity to advertise your company and products, because along with the FT-IR spectrum, the name, source of the sample, classification of the product, technique used to produce the IR spectrum, and any pertinent properties made available to us will be included in the database.
