FURNACE CHARGING CAR FOR ALUMINIUM SMELTER Inquiry (采购产品): FURNACE CHARGING CAR FOR ALUMINIUM SMELTER WE HAVE A REQUIREMENT FOR FURNACE CHARGING CAR AS PER THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION MENTIONED. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Design, Engineering, Assembly, Supply, Testing and Commissioning of Furnace Charging Car as per the followings: DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT: Furnace Charging Car is used to charge Aluminium Metal Scraps into the holding Furnace with the help of bucket. The car comprises of - Self propelled solid rubber tyre mounted vehicle. All steel welded structure. - Rear unit equipped with a hydraulic pump, powered by an internal combustion engine. - Front unit comprising of raising/lowering mechanism for bucket and one telescopic boom assembly. - Charging bucket. - Solid metal handling forks. To increase operator’s convenience cabin fan shall be provided along with hydraulically suspended Driver’s seat. Instrument panel shall be accompanied with all the vehicle operating and control mechanism and visual alarm. To facilitate interchangeability of parts and easy maintenance all hydraulic components such as pumps, motors and valves shall be same as that installed in our existing Furnace Charging Car to the extent possible. For this prior approval of NALCO is required. - The temperature inside the furnace will be approximately 1000°C. - Metal temperature will be approximately 900°C. - The threshold of the furnace gate is 1300mm above ground level. - The vehicle shall be designed to withstand severe working conditions (Impact, Vibrations, Alumina dust etc.). - Emergency provision shall be made to retract the boom & move the vehicle from furnace in case of engine failure. - All hydraulic installations shall be suitably protected from heat radiation. - The turning radius of the vehicle shall be designed so as to provide easy maneuverability. - The vendors shall have to be approved by NALCO for all critical components. - The vehicle shall be capable of operating as follows: ? 4Hrs. actual working time per 8Hrs. shifts. ? 3 shifts per day ? 365 days per year - All the moving functions of the car shall be hydraulically operated. - The car shall be designed in such a way that fitting and removing the bucket should be carried out through a simple and straight forward system within a minimum possible time without manual intervention. - Dimension of solid metal charging gate of the furnace: ? Width : 7300mm ? Height : 1600mm - Provision to accommodate fork attachment. INSPECTION, COMMISSIONING & PERFORMANCE TESTING: - NALCO shall depute representative for pre-dispatch inspection at vendor’s site. - Supervision of Performance Testing & Commissioning shall be carried out by vendor at NALCO Site. - Vendor shall submit Test Certificate for the materials used for manufacturing of Furnace Charging Car. Global Tender Notice No. - NBC/MM/SX/1404/PT/06 Page 4 of 4 WARRANTY: Vendor shall submit warranty certificate against defective design, faulty workmanship, and unsatisfactory performance for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: - The vendors are advised to visit site before quoting to get first hand information about the actual working conditions and requirements of duty cycle for the equipment. - Completion Schedule: The completion schedule for development, manufacture & final commissioning will be as follows: ? Development, manufacture & commissioning: 12 months from the date of Brief Order - Final acceptance: The equipment will be finally accepted after 3 months of successful operation from commissioning date. - Spares: Required commissioning spares, required maintenance tools and tool kit, first fill of hydraulic oil, engine oil, gear oil and other lubricants, drawing and documents, Two years normal operation & maintenance spares are to be supplied by the vendor along with the equipment.
