Width – 14 ft 0 in ? Height – as low as possible, but not to exceed 30 inches ? Wheel diameter desired by PCC – 16 in flanged on the inside only ? Track Gauge – 8 ft 0 in centerline to centerline ? Rail Size – 100# ASCE ? The car shall be self propelled by electric motor(s) operating at 480VAC, 3 phase, 60Hz. Motor to be TEFC. ? Power shall be supplied to the car via a cable reel mounted on the car with 100 ft of cable terminating in a suitable weatherproof twist-lok connection or equivalent with a strain relief device. ? Speed of travel shall be approximately 50 to 60 fpm, single speed. ? Control of car shall be by a single walk-along push-button station attached to the car with 10 ft of cable with three push buttons labeled “NORTH”, “SOUTH”, and “POWER ON-OFF”. ? Since this car will be used at times in an outside environment, all electricals shall be NEMA 4. ? Operating cycle of this car will be 2 to 3 times per day. ?
