Inquiry (采购产品): heating treating Ihave three sources who are working on quotes to make the die plates complete – material, cut shape, finish machining, & heat treat. I need additional quotes for the shape cutting and finish machining & additional quotes for heat treat. For shape cutting and machining: The attached PDF shows the smallest and largest die plates. There are 1106 die plates in the set and we will need two sets for the Big Wheel project. For heat treating: The attached PDF shows the smallest and largest die plates that need heat treating. There will be two of each die plate #’s 1 through 1106. The area that needs to be hardened to Rc 50-55 at a depth of 1/8” is the circular arc with the surface finish callout. The radius changes by .005” per plate. For the project, I will need 2 sets of die plates processed – a set consists of 1106 pieces. Smallest diameter is 2.340” at die plate #1 and the largest diameter is 13.079” at die plate #1106. Development work was done when the last set of plates were made back in ’99. A brine quench was used. Next rinsing and rust inhibit application. And the final step involved drawing at 450 deg F. I am open to vendor suggestions concerning the process. If you are interested in quoting, please respond with an email address, I will then forward the pdf files noted above. **** Hidden Message ***** Gail Garrens 7002 North 288th St. P.O.
