My aviation tooling experience began as a Jig and Fixture builder for Boeing and McDonnell Douglas. I have extensive work experience in every conceivable aspect of tooling as well as extensive process and procedure implementation, project management from concept through first article delivery and training, and Quality Assurance. My 20 year aerospace based background as Business Unit Manager, Production Group Leader, Sr. Technical Specialist, Sr. Project Manager, journeyman tool maker, 3D manufacturing simulation trainer, quality assurance, jig and fixture builder, process validation - enhancement, Lean Manufacturing Processes, and JIT environment have given me the foundation to successfully interface with a wide variety of organizations regarding concepts, and effect positive gains to multi-disciplined groups. I have completed 45 units at The University of Phoenix, Fountain Valley, Ca. towards a Business Management Degree with a 3.58 grade average. The ability to communicate with a broad range of personality types and an “easy going” demeanor greatly enhance my effectiveness and I am eager to acquire new skills outside of my traditional “comfort zone”. I have a complete working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and several specialized CAD programs. I have an extensive knowledge of industrial / manufacturing processes, procedures, blueprints, precision hand held measuring tools, hand held assembly tools, and conventional / laser optical measuring equipment.
