This is a hair dryer holder mounted by a gooseneck on an adjustable, telescoping pole and inserted into a five-leg caster base (office chair base). The gooseneck is 5/8-11 thread OD. The chair base is standard, approx. 1 1/2" OD (?). I would like the tube to telescope from about 3 ft. to 5 1/2 to 6 ft. if possible, so, either in two or three pieces of tubing. The finish should be either brushed steel, nickle, chrome or stainless, or, if plastic, a cream color. The prototype seen in the photos attached was an industrial work lamp which had a tripod and lamp attached when purchased from a hardware store for $14.95 about ten years ago. I am thinking this will have to be fabricated somehow and do not have any idea how to accomplish this.
