Inquiry (采购产品): Titanium Rod I am looking to get 1/8" (3.175mm) Grade 5 titanium rod (Ti6Al4V) machined to a 2.8mm diameter and cut into approximately 2.5" lengths. The challenging part is to get the face of the rod to be as flat and smooth as possible. Outside diameter and length are not critical dimensions and standard tolerances can apply. To lower costs the length can be reduced to a standard length- please advise this length. I would like to get a quote for 5 pieces, 10 pieces and 25 pieces with a face surface finish of approximately .158 micrometers (or the best possible). If necessary, I would also like to get a quote on lapping the surface face of these rods to get a precise finish. I am not familiar with your capabilities, please advise what is possible and what the costs associated would be. Also if there are any partners you could recommend for electropolishing after this process that would be very helpful. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
