business proposal Inquiry (采购产品): business proposal Dear Shipping Manager/Foreman: I am writing you this email in request of business. You see, I am an independent contractor with my own trucking authority as well as my own brokerage authority. I have recently hired a driver for my truck so I can be home with my family more and to also focus on the brokerage side of my business. I am not looking to make a fortune, just enough to stay home with my family and catch up on what I have missed in the last eight years that I have been on the road. I am sure that this sounds like a pity story, and I guess that may be what it is. However, I don’t intend it to be, but I do intend it to be honest. We have brokered several loads in the past, but I was on the road and my wife did most of that as well as find freight for me. Not to mention being both parents while I was gone. Now that I am home, she is going to keep our truck moving around the country and I am going to focus on the brokerage side, which means you. We have decided to operate on a minimum profit margin. We feel that this will generate more business for us, but more importantly than that, we feel that passing more of the load pay to the driver will make a happier driver. Thus insuring safe, reliable and speedy delivery of your product. We are a deeply rooted Christian family so a strict and careful selection process of drivers will be of utmost importance to us. We don’t want to deal with drivers that will give us problems along the way and we know that you don’t either. Being able to load a driver on time and not hearing anymore about it until your customer calls and thanks you for fast and reliable service is what you are looking for and what we are intending on providing. I want to thank you for your time in reading my email and considering us as your carrier/broker. I am not asking for any commitments, just a chance at a few loads every now and then.
