I have been managing activities of distribution of Heating Elements since 1983 (over 25 years) to Panamanian industries along our country. We have been representing proudly Chromalox brand since more than 10 years, but before we distributed Watlow brand too. We have learned how this market works, so we are looking to establish a little stock in Panama to satisfy the actual requirements of our clients; mainly, their credit payment terms. Our experience is that merchandise delays approximately three weeks to be delivered from factory to our warehouse, and our clients make payment to us around 45 – 60 days after merchandise is delivered to them. As today, our clients are looking to buy products attending following aspects: - Price of products - Quality of products - Buy Minimum Quantities - Delivery time - Payment Terms Since 1998, it has been our goal to establish a “Little Store” in Panama that may supply all these aspects that allow us to grow up into this Market. Delivery Time, Payment Terms, and Price are the mainly aspects taking in consideration by clients at moment to made decision to buy this type of products. That is reason why we are looking a manufacturer who wants to be our partner in this project. Our weakness to get grow up in this project has been lack of cash flow; because our clients are industries and their amount of buys means to us too much money that we can’t handle. Therefore, we have been involved into a “vicious circle” that avoid our ability to develop our Heater Store project. We have knowledge of Panamanian Market, and we are looking for a partner that be interested in develop it together with us. Our relationship with our vendor has been made payment late; because our clients pay us over 30 days, so if we add delivery time, it means that we always pay overdue date. I am honest with you. Panama is a good market, but we need to change our strategies, so that is the reason why I contact you.
