Inquiry (采购产品): Guaranteed LTL Savings Program Savon Logistics has a unique program for saving shippers 10-15% or MORE on LTL shipments. Savon is able to do this by analyzing each shipper’s freight lanes by cost and fuel surcharges. Most common carriers will tell shippers that they service the whole country which most common carriers do. However, each common carrier has lanes within their network of lanes that cost them less to service than other lanes depending on where their terminals are and other factors. Once Savon’s analysis is complete, we then shop the shipper’s lanes to the common carriers whose least cost lanes best match the lanes of the shipper. Savon will then negotiate with these carriers on behalf of the shippers to guarantee significant savings for a one year period. There is a second component of savings that Savon provides to its LTL shipper clients. We call it Fuel Surcharge Avoidance. Most common carriers charge a fuel surcharge over and above the line haul charge. This charge is usually a percentage of the line haul rate. Because Savon negotiates lower line haul rates on behalf of their shipper clients, the fuel surcharge is also reduced; this is what Savon calls Fuel Surcharge Avoidance. As fuel prices go up during the peak driving seasons, the savings to the shipper become even more dramatic.
