I have experienced the highs and lows of the economy but we always held strong and made it through the tough times. Majority of my career with Betco I worked 50-60 hours a week. I became accustomed to the income that brought my household. In December 2008, they cut everyone’s hours to a standard 40 hours a week. It has been rough, especially through the holidays, missing that 10-20 hours of overtime. Recently they have started laying people off. I don’t know the fate of Betco Block but I know I need to supplement the income that I no longer can earn. Enclosed is a copy of my resume. Initially, I am looking for a part-time position that will allow me to work Monday-Friday 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday’s. If the rumors are true and Betco Block moves location or ceases to exist then I would like the opportunity for this part-time position to be a permanent full-time career. My resume will reflect a committed, hard manual labor worker. Unfortunately, It does not illustrate my honesty, integrity and responsible nature that makes me such a reliable worker. I have included numerous references that would be happy to tell you how dependable I am.
