Inquiry (采购产品): Capability Inquiry Request for Expression of Interest 4 Ton Packaged Electric-Powered Chiller for Use on Transport Aircraft Yankee Scientific is working with the United States Missile Defense Agency to supply a cooling system design and equipment to meet several steady and intermittent thermal requirements connected with a high-powered laser system on board a military transport aircraft. We are interested in learning of your capabilities to support us with the configuration and construction of a packaged electric powered chiller as part of the thermal management system for this airborne laser system. Specifications will include: Thermal Duty = 51,200 BTU/hr at 5 F delivered, and 20 F return , process fluid temperature, continuous at 105 lb/min ( 10 GPM) Process (cooled) Stream Fluid Properties @ 5 F: Specific gravity = 1.25 Viscosity = 21 centipoise Thermal Conductivity = 0.25 Btu/hr-ft-F Specific heat capacity = 0.54 Btu/lbm-F Materials Compatability: Stainless Steel alloy needed Freezing point: -15 F Heat Sink Fluid: Propylene Glycol flow supply at Maximum of 140 F, Minimum 30 F, Temperature rise 15 F. Electrical Power Supply: 200 volt three phase at 400 Hz (Package may include electric power voltage and frequency inverter to facilitate use of best available commercially available compressor, response may be based on 208 Volt- three phase and 60 HZ if needed). Weight : design for minimum using minimum weight materials and components Size: no specific geometric limitation at this point Noise: 65 DBa at 3 feet. Vibration transmission: less than 0.05 g at frequencies between 20 and 2000 Hertz, scroll compressor preferred. Servicability: Maximum 24 hour downtime to replace any failed components with spares on hand. Power use efficiency: Maximum practical, apply liquid suction heat exchanger if appropriate. Refrigerant: common commercial HFC refrigerant per vendor selection.
