Copper Radiator Inquiry (采购产品): Copper Radiator Hi, I was wondering if you could provide a heat exchanger that meets the following specifications. I also emailed a pdf copy of the specifications to kkirchen@fluidindmfg.com. Copper Radiator Specs Tara Backman, UC-Merced, 8/14/09 Heat Load: 23.2 kW to be transferred from the warm ambient air to a cold fluid. Fans will be used. If possible please provide four fans, each covering a quarter of the radiator. The heat exchanger must be: (1). Energy Efficient: Consider energy absorption while fan is on (desirable) and energy absorption while fan is off (undesirable). (2). Durable: Must last 20 years in air temperatures ranging from 0?C to 55?C. Will be bolted into a cement slab in weather protected conditions. Will be exposed to humidity. (3). Lightweight: Less material means less cost and higher energy efficiency. Parameter: SI Units, English Units, Notes Heat Load: 23.2kW, 1319 Btu/min, HX Material: Copper and Brass, Copper and Brass, no lead please, fluid inlet/outlet must be copper/brass. Cold Fluid Type: Water plus a rust preventative. Cold Fluid Inlet Temperature: 7?C, 45?F Cold Fluid Outlet Temperature: 14?C, 57?F Air Inlet Temperature: 23.9?C, 75?F Cold Fluid Mass Flow Rate: 820 g/s, 1.8 lbm/s, for 10?C Cold Fluid Volumetric Flow Rate: 8.2*10^-4 m^3/s, 13 GPM Cold Fluid Density: 999.7 kg/m^3, 62.42 lbm/ft^3, for 10?C Cold Fluid Specific Heat Capacity: 4.20 J/(g*K), 1.002 Btu/(lbm*?F), for 10?C Cold Fluid Kinematic Viscosity: 1.307*10^-6 m^2/s, 1.407*10^-5 ft^2/s, for 10?C Cold Fluid Dynamic Viscosity: 1.307*10^-3 N*s/m^2, 2.730*10^-5 lb*s/ft^2, for 10?C Cold Fluid Thermal Conductivity: .57 W/(m*K), .33 Btu/(hr*ft*?F), for 10?C **** Hidden Message ***** Tara Backman 95301 Company: UC Merced E-mail: tbackman@ucmerced.edu **** Hidden Message ***** tbackman@ucmerced.edu |
