Inquiry (采购产品): Foam / Sponge Oring Our More Specific Guideline needs: 1) We are after a lower compression force compare to the one required for a normal o-ring 2) Our sealing requirement follows the Nema electrical enclosure standard. Below is a general description of the Nema 4 standard: "Enclosures constructed for either indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment; to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water; and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure." 3) In the past when we use conventional o-ring we follow your industry design guideline (for static seal) to design the groove width, depth, o-ring compression and required compression force, as well as material characteristic such as o-ring compression set over time, durometer etc. Since the foam material is new to us we would like to know if you could provide similar guideline and material characteristic for consideration in our design. Required sample needs: Specifications & Material to be: CS - 2mm (Cross Sectional Diameter) Durometer Value - Shore 50A o-ring ID - O-rings between 160 to 165mm in diameter (seal groove circumference 520mm --> dia=165.5 mm ) MATERIALS: 1.Buna-N 2.EPDM 3.Silicone. If possible can you provide 6 samples of each materials with ID= 160 and 165mm. If the above ID is not in stock can you cut and splice 2 o-rings to provide us with the needed samples. Please also indicate the exact grade of o-ring material that you can supply us as samples.
