The pump performs very fine and is reliable, but when the cooling system of the condenser in the dryer fails, the pump has to absorb saturated water vapor. That fouls the oil. When the customer does not change the oil in time, this may lead to failure. The dryers are distributed all over the world, so we prefer a pump that can handle saturated vapor. Do you have a scroll pump that can do the job? Pressure 20 - 50 mBar abs. Flow approx 40 m3/hr (sogevac 40) The dryer system is low cost, 89000 Euros for a 16 kWatt random wave vacuum dryer. So the price setting is important. Although the product from our dryer has a quality similar or better than freeze drying for only 1.1kWattHr per liter water evaporated, we still have to compete the very low cost hot air dryers.
