Surgical Adhesive Tapes Automatic operation Substrate: hypoallergenic paper and non-woven cloth preferred Adhesive glue: water based preferred size: all standard sizes Machines required: - adhesive coating plant - slitting – rewinding machine - spooling machine - others 2. Surgical Sutures Automatic operation Single needle - suture assembly and packing machine Accepting wide range of die sizes (for all types and sizes of needles and threads - including drilled and flanged, 5/0 to 2, thread lengths of 45 / 75 / … cm – adjustable) The production line includes: - suture attaching machine - pull tester (for automatically or manually checking the retention strength of the needle attachment) - winders and tipping machines - suture dies - packing (cartons of 12-pcs V-packs / aluminum pouches + cellophane cover) - E.O. autoclave with a chamber of around 7 m3 (optional) - others Capacity: around 3 to 5,000,000 pcs per year The machine should take suture from the reel, inspect for flaws, cut it to length, stiffen the end, attach the needle, then wind it into the support card, insert it into a foil envelope, seal and date code it and stack it into a cassette ready for sterilization or outer packaging 3.
