carbon steel spring wire carbon steel spring wire Dear Sir, We are into manufacturing of jewel bearings out of synthetic RUBY & SAPPHIRE STONES , in which carbon steel wires with diamond paste on it as carrier are used for HOLE ENLARGING OPERATION.The following are very important factors for selection of wires 1.The diameter of the wire is very critical aspect as the tolerance of the hole is very very tight. 2.Before putting the wires in the laser drilled holes, the wires has to be crimpled (curled).The wire should not break easily when it is made straight. 3. we use different diameter wires for example for final hole finishing we use wires of dia 0.040, 0.045, 0.50, 0.055,0.60, 0.065, 0.090mm wires & for hole enlarging , we use 0.1, 0.11, 0.12, 0.13, 0.14, 0.15, 0.16, 0.18, 0.19,0.20, 0.21, 0.22, 0.24, 0.80mm wires. The tolerance is _+0.001mm. 4. These wires are packed in spools K-40.some of these wires are also used in musical instrument PIANO. 5.
