I will be travelling to China in August with my family. I also want to take advantage of the trip to search for business opportunities. I am a resident of South California area in the United States, bordering with North Mexico. I am interested in establishing a long term relationship to conduct business in either the United States or in Mexico since i can do business in any of the 2 countries, i have dual citizenship. Import duties to Mexico from Chinese products are extremely high, so im thinking of setting up shop in San Diego California, and distributing products on this side of the border to American and Mexican potential customers. This way, Mexican customers can purchase products and it would be their responsibility to transport the good to Mexico after purchase, and i could cover both USA and MEXICO. Any advice on where in China i could find these types of contacts? Should i travel to a specific province? In what province would i most likely be successful in my search for these opportunities?
