TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 1.1 STAINLESS STEEL WIRE a) The stainless steel wire grade ALSI 316 shall be made according to UNI 6900-71 standard. b) The minimum tensile strength value shall be not less than 550N. c) The external diameter of the stainless steel wire shall be 1.1mm. d) The stainless steel wire rope have to be composed of three triangular strands each made of three conductors (3x3), lay R.R.L. e) The stainless steel wire shall be supplied on rolls of 2000 meters each (TOLERANCE ?3%). (QTY: 76 KM) 1.2 ALUMINUM SEALS a) The length of Aluminium seals shall not be more 15mm. b) The Aluminium seals have to be with through hole suitable for accepting two stainless steel wires. c) The tensile strength of the Aluminium seals shall be 78-118N/mm2. (QTY: N.R.) 1.3 SEALING PLIERS a) The sealing pliers shall be of ratchet controlled mechanism, to ensure a complete crimping operation and automatic handle opening. b) The sealing pliers shall be not less than 21cm length and 7cm width. c) The weight of sealing pliers shall not exceed 0.5kg. d) The sealing pliers shall be made of precision cast, specially heat treated steel jaws for crimping the aluminium seals. The jaws shall be engraved to imprint the required codes and serial number to be specified later. e) The sealing pliers have to be supplied complete with wire cutter and heavy duty canvas bag suitable to carry both the sealing pliers and the wire cutter. (QTY: N.R.) 1.4 SEALING KIT b) The sealing kit shall be made of plastic spool with automatic self closing lid for storing the steel wire and the seals. c) The plastic spool shall be able to store not less than 15 meters of stainless steel wire and 100 Aluminium seals.
