The drums can be either steel or plastic, but must have a detached lid. Also, smaller sizes, such as 30-gallon or 15-gallon are desired. However, no drums whatsoever are needed with a tight, sealed, unremovable top. These barrels should be empty and relatively-clean (although a final, thorough rinsing will be accomplished at the shipping-destination in Portland). If the drums are no-cost to me, then minimal residues of the prior contents are acceptable, to spare the donor of the labor-time for cleansing -- if the previous contents were non-hazardous.Superficial rust and minor dents are acceptable for steel drums. Plasticdrums can be any color. These drums will be used for shipping bulk parts and other material, but will not be refilled with any food-product nor chemical-product for commercial re-use.
