Need turnkey suppliers Need turnkey suppliers - yogurt processing and/ or packaging Greetings from General Mills! We are fifth largest food company in the world with an annual turnover of around USD 16 billion. We are present in 100+ countries of world. Our key brands are Cheerios, Pillsbury, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Haagen-Dazs, Yoplait, Green Giant, Old El Paso etc. As part of expansion, we are seeking low capital alternative yoghurt processing & packaging (form-fill-seal lines) that can produce and fill into cups, 38 million gallons/year (120,000 gallons/day i.e. 5000 gallons/ hr or 20000 liters/ hr) of yogurt annually over 320 production days with 3 shifts/day. The line should broadly cover the following steps Yogurt Processing & Production ? Receipt of liquid and dry mix ingredients, Bulk handling (truck / trailer quantities) of fluid dairy ingredients and liquid sugar, Blending and hydration of wet and dry ingredients, Pasteurization / homogenization, Fermentation at 110 F (typical is 4 hr, range is 3-5 hrs), Cooling to 35 F (immediately after fermentation, prior to filling), Fermented yogurt base storage (after cooling, before filling), Culture make up and/or DVS culture preparation and handling, Addition and blending of fruit and flavor ingredients Yogurt Packaging ? Form-Fill-Seal Filling / packaging (113 g cups, 170 g cups, in four-pack links) & Packing cups into case (24/case, 6-4packs) The solution should be GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) and approved for dairy plant use / contact (meet PMO and 3A regulations) Please confirm your capability for the same (processing and/ or packaging part).
