I am in need of the following for cigar humidors. Seven to 9 mm white non-indicating SI 02 bead. Must be wide pore over 1000 A wide enough to CAPTURE and HOLD WATER. Must have a crush resistance of at least 40 pounds of pressure. We want to allow the beads to be submerged into water where they will absorb at least 40 percent of their own weight and hold the water. We do not want pre-conditioned beads, since the process to accomplish this is very slow. Once the bead is allowed to dry it becomes useless for our purpose. This is why we need beads with wide pores. The pores can actually go up to 3000 A.
