Dear Southern Fiber Inc., My name is Lisa Villa and I am writing on behalf of my aunt, Sue Cantu. She is an avid quilter for the charity Binky Patrol, which makes blankets for agencies (children's shelters, police, government, etc.) that gives these to children during situations of crisis - children that often just need a bit of comforting. They are an established and recognized charity and also have a web-presence. The costs of making theses gifts of hope come directly from her pocket and as she is now on a very limited income, I am asking you for some help. I am hoping there is an amount of batting that you could donate to this worthy cause and since you are within driving range, I would be more than happy to pick up any usable quilting batting. End runs that often cannot be sold as quilting grade batting can be pieced together by a talented seamstress, such as my aunt, as she works even harder to make sure every bit is used for this worthy cause.
