The only identifier I can find is stamped on the metal device that controls the height and spring action of the chair. ""BETTCHER CLEVE PAT 7-15-24"" My guess is that Bettcher may not have made the whole chair, but perhaps just this piece. The casters on it (original) have a company name that seems to have existed in Long Beach California between 1921 and 1929. Can you confirm any of this?
