Vehicles can be placed parallel to a ravine and spool the cable in evenly, layer after layer. Spooling can be performed from variable degree positions, allowing for angle movement of the load or winch vehicle during spooling. No longer is it necessary to span the distance of 22 times the winch drum to obtain the proper fleet point to begin or end spooling the cable. The GHLW allows the object to be pulled within inches of the drum. The GHLW is totally self-powered. There is no outside power source needed. The cable itself generates its own power. There are no gears, no sprockets, no electronics, no hydraulics or motors - nothing to breakdown or jam.
