I was asking for assistance in my efforts to restore 3 meters that I purchased on E-bay, to use in my car shows, but because of the early models, he referred me to you, thinking that you could assist me. They were originally from the state of New Jersey. One is a never used overstock item, and the other is a double head that was stored outdoors, and is just starting to rust. I plan on doing an entire restoration, but I thought that starting with lock systems would be the smartest thing. No keys were available with the purchases, since they were originally restricted, but I do have a trace of the keys from the seller, and key numbers, which might help. I work for the US Postal Service, so I am quite familiar with the restrictive key issue, and for that reason, I purchased out of state items. If keying isn't an option (my locksmith could not do anything except take apart one of the locks to get to the inside, and he has no blanks), then I might need to purchase 3 bottom locks, 3 top locks, and 3 coin canister locks as replacements for the ones contained. I live in Mission Hills, and my next day off is Monday, the 9th. If possible, I could make the short trip to meet with you, so that you could look them over, and then guide me, or if you give me an actual email address, I could send detailed photos that I have, showing the locks and the meters in open position. I noticed on your website, you show Abloy as the item name, and I don't know if that would work on a Duncan, Model 50 (or maybe they are Model 60, and I am mistaken), but you would probably know much more than me on the subject. I have a couple of other leads, but since your office is so close and Jeff recommended that I contact you, I will work with you first, if possible. Would a meeting be possible? Or could we do this through email and phone? Please let me know by Friday if Monday is a possibility, or if you think your locks would be compatible.
