Quote Request This is an inquiry message about Quote Request in the 108th China Canton Fair. Pallet rack material can be delivered and will be installed at U.S. Census Bureau-River Ridge Commerce Center, 700 Patrol Road, Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130. During regular working hours of 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Installation can occur 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (no labor premiums). Racking will be installed in 12 doubled rows of 14 each, and 13 doubled rows of 13 each. There will be 16”4” aisle-ways between the rows. The placement of each row in relation to walls and interior columns is indicated on the drawing. Pallet racking dimensions: Upright-15’ high, 42” wide, constructed of 3”x 3” HD steel posts Row spacers-1 per upright; 16” in length Step beam/pallet supports-Beams-9’long, 4.5” wide step beam designed to accept steel pallet supports (Pallet supports must be fastened to the step beam) Pallet supports-Length designed to set down in the step beam without overhang, in quantities that allow 4 each per shelf Specifications: Beam shelf spacing 54”-Upright capacity must be sufficient to hold two (2) 3,000 lbs. maximum weight pallets per shelf Tear drop style connections Uprights must be bolted to the floor (see pallet rack installation below) Pallet support-4 each per shelf Color: Uprights must be a different color than the beams Estimated quantities: Uprights-724 each Beams-4,044 each Row spacers-362 each Pallet supports-8,088 each These quantities are estimates and must be verified prior to providing a quote Each pallet rack location shall provide: Vertical Uprights: 12 gauge steel vertical upright, 30 foot height 42 inch overall rack depth 20,000 pound minimum overall weight capacity Horizontal rails: 105 inch length (providing 102 inch open pallet clearance) 55 inch open vertical height between horizontal rails Each section is to provide 14 pallet spaces including use of floor and top level (7 levels) Pallet support: Steel mesh pallet decking for all rail sections (to support 2,000 pounds per pallet) Pallet rack spacing brackets: 20 inch spacing brackets to provide 16 inch space between bracketed rows Pallet rack installation: All pallet rack uprights footers to be fastened to concrete warehouse floor using expansion bolts Holes for expansion bolts should be drilled to an extra depth to drive bolts below floor surface upon pallet rack removal (so holes can be plug patched). The uprights must be bolted to the floor. The required bolting pattern will be one per upright leg on the perimeter and one per alternating upright legs within the perimeter of each row. Pallet racking shall meet RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute) specifications Racks may be used (not new) but shall be of sound quality, consistency/uniformity of material, make, model, parts, type, size, color, etc. Provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, equipment such as fork trucks, man lifts, tools and other related equipment, to perform all installation of pallet racking and receipt of materials.
