I have experienced the highs and lows of the economy but we always held strong and made it through the tough times. Majority of my career with Betco I worked 50-60 hours a week. I became accustomed to the income that brought my household. In December 2008, they cut everyone’s hours to a standard 40 hours a week. It has been rough, especially through the holidays, missing that 10-20 hours of overtime. Recently they have started laying people off.
