This is an inquiry message about alumina grit #3 in the 108th China Canton Fair. (这是一条买家关于"alumina grit #3"的询盘信息,来自第108届中国广交会。)Inquiry Message (询盘信息) alumina grit #3 We are using a S.S. White Abrasive Unit H with #3 grit alumina. We are grit blasting stainless steel one inch away using a small rectangular nozzle and an air pressure of 60 to 90 psig. I have noticed that some of the alumina particles less than 10 microns are firmly imbedded in the rough stainless steel surface. My question to you is: Are the 10 micron particles from the original batch of #3 alumina or does the alumina break into smaller pieces upon impinging on the stainless steel? My basic question is to get your best estimate on whether a 30 to 50 micron alumina particle breaks up after impinging on the steel assuming the parameters I have given you?
